The primary goal of the Cashel Bay Horticultural Cooperative (CBHC) is the the advancement of economic diversification through eco-positive horticulture in western County Galway as an income-producing supplement for livestock farming.

The CBHC will provide turnkey services to growers to facilitate activities from planning and planting to harvest and maintain organic standards.

The CBHC will conduct market studies for product development and establishing fair market prices for the harvested fruit provided by the membership. 

And the CBHC will provide educational programmes in permacultural agriculture, establish growers’ cooperatives, conduct research, provide growers with turn-key services from planting to harvest and product sales, and strive to make rural living more approachable to younger Irish citizens through structured outreach and participatory programmes.
